EBISU: Rowazo for an amazing Roast Beef lunch... you gotta goooooo! (Sony RX100)

I thought for sure I made an entry for Rowazo's roast beef lunch but no where to be found on my site. This is the spot where we had an amazing client dinner.

Roast beef lunch is limited to only 20.

Includes a scoop of sweet potato.

... and a little bowl of pickled veggies.

OMG... every piece was so incredibly tender and the sauteed onion topping so super flavorful.

Hidden below roast beef is the rice! When in Ebisu you just gotta visit Rowazo for this! I went to visit a client nearby and he mentioned that this restaurant was going to close down in December. Hope they will remain open...

SANGENCHAYA: Shirokuma Tokyo... A special cozy little cafe with a great cup of coffee. Justin Bieber on the BGM!

I am absolutely not a coffee guy but popped in with a colleague to kill 30 minutes and glad I did.

Don't drink coffee as it causes my stomach to rumble and the friendly staff asked if I liked sweet drinks then suggested the Caramel Latte.

First time ever to have a drink with artwork topping... few sips and this was so soothing.

There are 2 very tiny tiny tables but enough space to relax over some pop on the BGM.

If in Sangenchaya then you gotta visit! A big level above any franchise.

IKEJIRIOHASHI: Hong Kong Men Shinki (Sun Kee). If you miss Hong Kong you gotta check out this authentic spot!

Who goes goes Ikejiri Ohashi? Me to visit a client and of course had to check out the foodie ranking for something near the office.

Choice was LA Garage on the same block or Hong Kong noodles... colleague voted for noodles.

Many different kinds of lunch set. Went for A Set that includes spar rib bits over rice, wonton ramen with Hong Kong noodles and almond jelly all for 900 yen. Oh if you go for the Japanese noodles then its only 800 yen.

The staff of 4 were all speaking Cantonese and the music was fully local. Really felt like I was in Hong Kong again... loved this atmosphere.

Oh my goodness...

2 pieces of shrimp wonton in the dish.

The annin dofu was ever so slightly sweet. Really enjoyed everything about this restaurant. If in the area you gotta check out Hongkongmen!

AOYAMA ICHOME: Hamaou Minato-Tei on a cold winter day had to get a stewed hambaguuu...

On a super super chilly windy day I had to go visit my favorite steak and hambaguuu restaurant. The item above my thumb is the nikomi-hanbagu lunch set for 980yen.
