IKEJIRI OHASHI: TOLO Pan "bread" Tokyo for a curry pan... it was like a malasada hawaiian donut.

Was strolling in the area before a meeting and noticed this sign "Food Good Enough to Leave Home For!!"  Well I had to give it a try.

The staff here including the bakers were all young hipster types.

There are 2 chairs outside.

If you've ever been to Hawaii and tried Leonards Malasada donuts then this is the non-sweet curry type.  The bread was nicely fluffy and chewy.

I couldn't believe it... a guy left his suitcase outside for a few minutes while he was buying some baked goods.  Tokyo sure is safe.

IKEBUKURO: Beer Pub Camden back to try their craft beers and a chili burger... lets do this!

I think there are only 3 craft beer spots in all of Ikebukuro and stopped by with a professor and pilot for beeru.

There is a selection on Tap and a huge range of bottled beers.

Prices were around 1,000 to 1,200.

Brewdog Hardcor IPA... high alcohol content of around 9%.

This place has a great selection of burgers and reasonably priced at 1,000yen vs other spots that charge between 1,000 - 2,000 for dinner burgers.

Chili had a nice kick.

Bill was a bit hefty but we had about 3-4 craft beers each.

Bottles.

Overall a nice place but the clientele age range was around 30 - 50 due to the prices.  

Will be back for some burgers again soon.

AOYAMA: Ki Mizu Tsuchi Restaurant for Lasagna... very nice

Brand new place for lunch near the office... Lots of choices but I loooove Lasagna.

Everything about 1000 yen.

Nice vegetable juice... think it was celery, apple and orange.

Here we go!

It was very tasty... you can't go too wrong with Lasagna. Yum.

"When paying, please have it."  Should I have corrected the Jinglish?

An of course on the way back there are always exotics at the local gas station in Aoyama.

EBISU: Mazesoba Mitsuboshi... Originated in Germany and opened up in Ebisu... fun mix of ingredients.

I saw a TV show featuring some spots in Ebisu and this was one of them.  Japanese owner opened a Maze Soba shop called "Nippon Noodles" in Germany and brought the same style to Tokyo.

Different styles and prices... about 900yen is average here.

Fun mix of ingredients... on a bed of noodles.  This was towards the end of the night and don't quite remember how tasty it was but the "L shaped" counter is cozy and very close to the station (also What The Dickens free live English pub).
