NAKAMURABASHI: Kappa Sushi now with 50 yen sushi by the piece plus a rather boring conveyor belt upgrade. (Canon G9x)

Kappa Sushi underwent a really nice make-over... definitely a bit more posh.

The new Tablets are so responsive... very nice.

They now have combo selections for 100 yen!  Or did they have this in the past?

You can now order just 1 piece of sushi for 50 yen! No longer do you need to order 2 pieces for 100 yen.  But this was sure a tiny sliver of a fish on an even tinier bed of rice.

They no longer have little trains delivering the sushi... just a very boring conveyor belt.

Everything seemed rather tiny this night... It must be getting expensive to source fish as more and more Asian countries start to develop an appetite for fresh sushi fish.

Fried items by the piece!

The favorite dish of the night was definitely the shrimp and squid tempura... nice and hot with a topping of mayo.

See how tiny my 2nd order of maguro is... its so itty bitty.

Time for a roll!   Much more value than most of the sushi items.

Interesting how they tied up with Hawaii Tourism for a Garlic Shrimp dish!

Price point is around 380 yen... wonder how it did.  Will have to try it next time as I only noticed this tiny sign after last order was called at 10:30pm.

So as usual I kept to my budget of 5 dishes this night...  Sure I had room for more but overloading myself on rather lowly sushi was not something I happy with.  Its like eating a ton of $1 burgers... usually 2-3 is more than enough.    Anyways this place has huge booths and is very family friendly!
