HIKARIGAOKA: Kura Sushi for a late night dinner and I won a Chikawa Gatcha! (Sony RX100)

Want to try Kaiten Sushi in Japan?  The only place to go is either Sushiro or Kura Sushi!  My suggestion... never goto Kappa Sushi unless you want a place to relax over a few dishes.

First time to visit a Kaiten sushi since the Pelo-Pelo (Licking) Tiktok scandal that hit the entire train sushi industry... young goof balls were licking cups, touching sushi on the belt,  adding wasabi to orders that passed by etc.

Yukke Sushi with flavorful Korean seasoning.  Yukke is normally made with raw beef but Tuna here.

The ever so consistent Ika-Tempura... huge!

Seasoned Maguro... ZukeMaguro.  Pre-Seasoned in sauce so no need to add shoyu.  Had a nice meaty texture.

Spicy Chanja - Cod stomach, intestines, and other internal organs thats a bit chewy.

Made to order! Hot and crispy shrimp tempura.

Always like to close with a little clam miso soup.

The number of clams have decreased from 9 to 5... dayum you inflation!

Kura has this Gatcha machine sitting above the booth and with every 5 plates you can play the game.  This night I only ate 5 items plus a soup.... lets go!

BOOM!

You can win one of these.

Got me a cute little Chikawa figure holding a plate of Maguro.  This is selling on Yahoo Auctions for 1,500 yen!  But its a keeper.

When you register at the entrance automated tablet seating machine definitely select 2 people so you can get a booth.  Other wise you may be seated at a counter seat.
