NAKANO: Tenkaippin muddy ramen newly opened! Interior is immaculate with booth seating. But cost performance was on the lowly side here. (Sony RX100M2)

Hadn`t eaten dinner and was lured into this new Tenkaippin in Nakano.

BOOTHS! Sooooo rare to see this at ramen joints in Tokyo.

Lots of photos.  Single and combo options.

Least expensive ramen is 890 yen.... normal portion of noodles.  Large portion is 1,070 yen.
This is rather high starting price point for ramen in Japan.  Normally its between 600-800 yen and normally very generous toppings are included.

I lured into this because of the rather big looking gyoza pot stickers! Must be good!

Under that layer of very flavorful muddy soup is a huge glob of tangled ramen...

Lots of sliced negi.

Photo can be deceiving 6 mini gyozas.

Gyoza skin was thin and crispy but the inside cabbage and meat very mushy.
Probably one of the least memorable gyozas I have ever had... you can buy a 24 piece at the supermarket for 138 yen and its comparable.

The noodles were clumped into a ball... so difficult to eat.  Not enough muddy soup.

Tiny menma baby bamboo

Incredibly thin piece of char siu pork... really?

There were about 8 counter seats.

Take out vending manchine.

Overall the quality was very meh here.  Between the clumpy noodles, supermarket grade gyoza and dry rice I just wasn't very impressed. BUT! The new interior was immaculate! No wonder why there were several lady diners.  Ramen joints in Tokyo are usually a bit dirty and full of men... but this place can actually be used for a date.
