TSUKISHIMA: Monjya Yaki Nishiki. First time ever to try Salmon monja... very good! (SONY RX100)

Rarely do I ever head out to Tsukishima but got an invite from a few locals to check out their favorite monja shop!

Might want to take a photo of what you would like as the regular menus have no images.

No picture menu's so make sure to take a look at the menu outside.

Topped with a scoop of Miso I think.

Boom! I am not a salmon fan and will never order it at a sushi spot but if grilled then its all me.

The waiter took about 8 minutes to prepare this salmon dish...

The otoshi... seasoned onion?

Use these tiny metal utensils to scrape the monjya off the hot plate.  Kinda like BBQ everyone gets to participate in scooping the fried monja batter off the hot plate... definitely a family friendly style.

Glass of Hi-Ball.

The 2nd choice was something with curry seasoning and cheese...

Seems they take reservations too...

Closed with some crepe.

2 Monja selections, the dessert crepe and a 2-3 drinks each came out to about 10,000 yen for 4 people.  Not too bad and would definitely recommend this spot but best to call ahead for reservations.
