KAWASAKI: Ramen Gyoku... Totally worth the 30 minute trek from Kawasaki Station... think fish broth tsukemen!

Never in my life would have I gone to Ramen Gyoku or even to Kawasaki unless it was for some kind of event... in this case it was for my Okinawan friends live performance.

Buy your ticket first then line up...  Interesting placement of buttons.  Normally the shops most recommended thats usually the least expensive sits at the left top corner but here it was the most expensive and perhaps something they want you to order.

But I went for the 800 yen Tsukemen dipping noodles... Atsumori-Style (hot noodles).

Little peels of yuzu to cleans the palette.

These guys love Rock Music!  All I recognized was GNR.

Oh! If you scan the shops LINE code and become friends then you can get one free topping.  Went for the boiled egg.

The fish broth was so wonderfully think and sooo flavorful... It reminded me a bit of Vegipota.

Noodles think and chewy... yum! Normally the boiled noodles are rinsed in cold water to maintain the texture but if you like them hot then ask for Atsumori.

Free grated onion topping.

Remember... don't drink all the soup.  You can add the hot ramen water to this to mellow out the flavor.

There were little pieces of fresh yuzu in the soup.
If in Kawasaki you gotta take that 30 minute stroll to Ramen Tama!
