AOYAMA ICHOME: Menya Raizin Ramen... ding sounds the microwave in a deserted ramen spot. Just opened... soon to close? (Canon s120)

My foodie updates have been so few and far apart since losing 3 Sony RX100's this year but had my old trusty Canon s120 with me and had to give this deserted ramen spot a try.  It just opened in May 2018!

Very unusual to not see the least expensive shop recommendation on the top left corner of the vending machine.  It was a mishmash of fish broth ramen, miso ramen, tonkotsu ramen, shoyu ramen.  This ramen spot just had no specialty.

... do a few rows down I spot the least expensive Tonkotsu Shoyu Ramen.

As I was waiting for my ramen I could hear a distictive Ding from a microwave oven.... In my 19th year in Japan this was a first.

For 720yen you sure do get alot of toppings... but this was the culprit to the microwave DING.  An incredibly seasoned very salty piece of pork.  Please clot my arteries...

The soup was rather luke warm... the noodles a bit al'dente... and there was a heavy after taste of MSG.  Yeah... once is definitely enough.

Overall if you are craving ramen in an office building with no customers just walk away... this place must totally rely on the lunch salaryman crowd to keep in business.  A PASS all the way!
