When in Nakamurabashi for dinner take the train to another town... there are so few dinner options with lowly ranked izakaya's and yakitori spots. BUT! Luckily this cool little sushi izakaya opened up last year and finally had a chance to go.
There is an L shaped counter, back of the restaurant is tatami style but we got lucky and scored the only table with a great view of Chef Mizukami.
Most things are pictured.
But to order sushi you have to write the number of pieces on this form.
A full house at 8:15pm.
Chutoro was so melty good... yum!
Avocado sushi a rarity... thank goodness with was a sushi izakaya.
A must! Cabbage with miso paste dip.
Chu-Toro roll.... yum.
My friend picked this white looking fish... it was so huge but extremely mushy... not so good.
Overall a few large bottle beers, a few highballs and enough sushi was only 5,100 yen for two.
The sole waiter Fukushima-san... super friendly too.
Drinks are half off during the 4-7pm happy hour. I will definitely be back.
