YOYOGI: Yoyogi Iekei Ramen - Yoyogi Shoten. Tonkotsu ramen that hits the spot for 680 yen... tiny quail egg!

I try my very best not to eat ramen when sober but occasionally get that regretful urge!  Yokohama-Ie-Kei (Home style) is a specific type of ramen.  Normally tonkotsu with thick noodles.

Not a very heavy topping kinda guy so went for the 680 yen bowl.

Remember!  If you are every lost at a ramen shop always push the top left hand corner.  Its normally the shops pride and joy then as you go to the right more toppings are added.

3 types of customization's in black circles.  How you like the noodles, how thick flavorful you want the soup and how much lard you want added.

Here it is! Very simple...

I went for normal noodle texture, thick flavor and extra lard oil

Noodles were a bit on the thicker side... nice and chewy.

Instead of a chicken egg you get 1 little quail egg.

You really can't go wrong with this type of ramen.  Just hits the spot.
