OMOTESANDO: Vin Brule for a farewell French dinner... 5,500 yen course with limited nomioudai drinks.

Company farewell dinner in Omotesando for 30 folks.

This was our course menu for the evening...

They had proper beer but unfortunately no shochu, nihonshu, or sake... just the bare bone basic drinks with a few cocktails.

Opening drink but I ordered this a few times... Brandy Fruit Soda.

I love fresh bread!  Crispy on the outside and soft chewy on the inside.. This was Not!  Very stale break that must have been sitting out for a while.

Highlight of the dinner was this huge block of beef... nicely seasoned steak sauce and the potatoes had a nice mustard topping.

Cheese risotto

Closed with caramel mousse... I had 3!

Farewell speech.

Overall the food was very mediocre and the drink menu too limited to justify a 5,500 yen price but if you love to drink ALOT of beer then this course might be for you as its a 3 hour nomihoudai. But the with the heater on extra hot and ho hum food I think 3 hours is a bit to long for this atmosphere.  Won't be back.
