NISHI AZABU: Rei-San French Chinese Restaurant... little mom and pop shop in the back streets of Nishi Azabu.

Grad school friend visiting from Vietnam and invited out to have dinner with his wife's cousins.

Started with a draft beer 700yen then we all shifted to a Chinese Shaoxing wine.
This variety was soooo extremely smooth.

Slightly seared tuna salad.

Lightly fermented salted boiled egg.

Egg plant.

Century egg with Tofu

Bean sprout pancake.

Probably my favorite dish of the night... sweet and sour Pork!

First time ever... almost like a jalapeno popper but with ikura eggs inside.

Overall if you want cozy and dark this is the place for you.  My Sony RX100 had a hard time getting any light... sure do miss my Canon S120.  There are 2 tables and then counter seating. The staff was very friendly.
