NAKAMEGURO: Teppen Izakaya... you'll never find it unless someone tells you about it. Secret door plus Amazing Sashimi Platter!

Company dinner and we luckily scored a table for 6 on a Monday night... it was packed!

Tiny tiny entrance of a door...

Welcome note left for those who reserve a table.

One plump chef at the helms.

The automatic otoshi appetizer for this night...

And here comes the stunning sashimi platter with Ootoro!
I'm a drinker when I go for dinner but the food was just so good that I so little alcohol.. The otoro was so melty buttery soft!  A must if you visit.

Ootoro sashimi

Grilled chicken with yuzu.

Grilled Tofu... perfectly crispy on the outside and super soft on the inside.

A whole Fish kinda twisted in the belly and grilled.

Torched tsukukune chicken with raw dipping egg.

The tsukukune raw chicken being flamed.

Loved this Uni and Ikura gratin.

Nice block of grilled pork bacon.

New "shin tamanegi" onion baked in tin foil.

Full house!

As 10pm rolled around a thinner chef started to take over.
