NERIMA: Matsuya Tonkatsu Restaurant for a 400 yen Tonjiru Corrokke breakfast... a rare breakfast sighting in Tokyo.

I am always at a loss when it comes to finding a breakfast spot in Tokyo.  We don't have any IHOPs or  Cracker Barrel's so its either eat something at home or just wait until lunch.

On the hunt for breakfast and spotted

Select a Language... then pick Eat-In 店内 or Take-Out.

Pick the middle for eggs and sausage or the right for the Tonjiru pork veggie soup option.

Free toppings.

Here we go! 400 yen for Tonjiru Miso Flavored Pork Soup, tofu, cabbage, corokke, rice and some seaweed plus a raw egg to mix and place on your rice.  Sweet deal!

Breakfast Korokke... sweet.

Lots of sauces and salad dressings.

Picked my favorite Carrot salad dressing... sooooo tasty.

If you are craving breakfast in Japan definitely hit up the beef bowl spot Matsuya that has breakfast options.  A huge franchise thats located all over Tokyo.
