EBISU: Fukumirai Japanese Restaurant... lots of seasonal fresh ingredients in this hidden secretive spot.

Its always great to have a business dinner with folks you really enjoy working with. Hit up this hidden virtually no sign Japanese restaurant in Ebisu... the only indicator is this...

...little owl hidden behind the potted plant at the entrance.

Special limited production Sapporo beer that tasted like Hoegaarden Beer.

Fresh huge boiled then chilled asparagus on a bed of ice.

Fresh oyster!

Sashimi platter.

Shiitake mushrooms

Wagyu beef.. always love this.

Not a fan of Shirako but this was cooked so first time in my life I gave it a try.

Closed my meal out with Udon.

This was a nice little cozy restaurant staffed by just a chef and one waitress. Food was just OK but I think its the atmosphere that was so nice. Because of the small size it can get quite loud if one group of folks start chatting it up... noticed a few younger ladies and older men together on dates.  Without windows you can definitely dine in secret here.
