TENNOUZU ISLE: SOHOLM for Northern European cooking and Boar and Bison Balls!!

Visited SOHOLM that is connected to Slow House store filled with clothing, furniture and lifestyle items.  Produced by the company ACTUS that has over 60 locations in Japan.

Caviar with little pieces of pancake... yum.

Caviar! Pancake! Yum? Oh yeah yum...

Had about 4 selection of beers.. this regular bottle was a mighty 1,000 yen.

Baked potato thingy.

These bison meatballs were sooooo delicious!  The meatballs had a very nice texture and the gravy sauce was yum.

Pork Pâté

I think this must be a bit of deer, wild boar and lots of wild meats.

Wild Boar!! A bit on the rare side but very tender without a heavy gamy taste.

Ceilings open all the way up to the 2nd floor where there is another dining/lunch area.

Dessert.. fudge, vanilla ice cream and some whip cream.

Counter seating with a view of the chefs.

Closed with some hot tea...

This restaurant is a bit hidden by the water but if you are ever in the Tennouzu Isle area its definitely worth a visit.  It was a full house on a Thursday night... a few couples, a group of new hires with the president of Actus behind out table, and other diners.
