YOYOGI: Son-san's Restaurant... Laurel, Hardy and their sister... whats going on up in ths Gyoza spot?

Friend living in Yoyogi said this Ramen Gyoza place was awesome... so one day I stopped by after work to watch Laurel frying gyoza, Hardy stumbling around being goofy and the sister wrapping dumplings.

Went for the beer and gyoza set... 880 yen!

Now thats Hardy in the middle fumbling around trying his very best roll the gyoza dough into uneven circular pieces... he was all thumbs.   Unfortunately he went from cleaning tables, handling old rags to flattening gyoza wraps without washing his hands the whole time I was there.

Now the sister poured my draft beer after Hardy filled it all up with foam... and the head still looks huge in this glass. Oh thats Laurel in the background.

The wrap was quite thick and had an ice chewy texture... watch out how you bit into this as all the soup inside squirts out in all directions!  Got some to go on my slacks!

A bit greasy...

Overall ho-hum... you will leave with a wonderful greasy glisten on your lips and smell of old gyoza oil.  Don't quite know why this place was so highly ranked on Tabelog. Oh a lady tried to ask for tissues but Hardy didn't hear her so she bellowed it out in Chinese! Then she struck up a conversation with the staff in Chinese... a good place to practice.
