YOYOGI: Tokyo Belly 900th Entry... Nameless Sushi Restaurant's 10 Yen Sushi! Rest was quite mediocre... Enjoy!

10 Yen!?!!!

Only 1 sushi selection is 10yen!  The Buri Fish... Japanese Amberjack

Here are 3 buri sushi, one negitoro 100yen and one egg 70yen.
The buri wasnt too bad for 10yen but it did have a fishy flavor and really not much different than the lower grade supermarket sushi.

Bottle beers 500yen (my was warm!) and draft beer 480yen.

Help yourself wet hand towels.

Menu is sprawled on the walls.. no English in sight.

10 yen buri.

180 yen Honmaguro Akami (basic tuna maguro).
This tasted fishy and a bit wet... hmm...

Always a bad sight... smoke and sushi never go well.

This tiny standing sushi izakaya seemed to share the space with an Asian or Japanese restaurant in the back... the staff was all Southeast Asians and they were blaring a mix of Frank Sinatra and Hiphop.  Very strange shared space here....  Perhaps 1 person owns both restaurants as they were sharing the draft beer server.

A customer asked why things were so cheap and the chef mentioned he is the only employee so they can keep prices down.  Once is enough for me... Cheap is nice but cheap and not so tasty is not really for me... plus the beer prices were higher than most budget izakayas.  Go for the experience and 10 yen sushi!
