HARAJUKU: Tonkatsu Shotaro on Jan 4th! A tradition at my current firm to have tonkatsu and drink beer to start the new year!

My very first New Year at my current trading company (TSE Code 8001) and there is a tradition for our department to visit Tonkatsu Shotaro for lunch with beer and sake!

I got the 980yen Filet Katsu lunch set...  Filet Katsu is always the most tender selection versus the Rosu Katsu that has some meatiness to it.  Can't go wrong and very good.

Prior to this we went to the God of Victory Togo Shrine that borders Harajuku Cat Street... definitely should visit here if u are walking along the street.

Overall you really can't go wrong with Tonkatsu in Japan... there are various price points but expect a price point of between 500yen to 2000yen.
