SHIMBASHI: Bi-Fun Taiwanese noodle restaurant... just a very nice heartwarming bowl of noodles

Shimbashi has soooo many tiny restaurants geared towards the struggling salarymen on limited lunch budgets.  This day a salary-man co-worker took me to Bi-Fun for lunch!

Basic noodle bowl from 650 yen then you can select sizes and more expensive ones have more toppings.

This was so tasty... for a whole piece its 700yen but split this with my colleague.

Seasoned mochi rice is used and there is a tender piece of pork inside... kinda like the Okinawan buta-no-kakuni.

Here we go!  Slices of beef and cabbage topping.  Noodles were similar to very thin angel hair pasta.  The soup so tasty I finished it all.

Lots of salarymen and OL's (office ladies).  Counter seating if you want to eat alone.

Leave you with a Christmas Lexus spotting!

Spotted in the October 2015 issue of Brutus Magazine featuring local Chinese restaurants... it was on all 4 pages! Wow.
