SHIBUYA: Yakiniku Yamazon x YELP Elites x Tokyo Belly 800th Entry! Amazing Yakiniku Dinner paired with Champagne. Delicious perfections!

I was one of the lucky 8 to be selected to join a full Yakiniku Course dinner valued at JPY 10,000 and also paired with multiple types of Champagne.

YELP x Yamazon Yakiniku x 8 Elites

Yamazon Manager's Intro... i was sitting at a bad angle to get the full speech on video.

Little golden Cow as a chopstick holder... my fellow Elite said it reminded him of MONOPOLY game pieces we all played as a child.

Carrot Cream with Caviar paired with Champagne Pommry Brut Royal

See the little Caviar? So yum

Smoked Yonezawa sirloin and roast beef... so melty tender and paired with Champagne Henriot Blanc de Blanc.

Delicate beef in the form of a rose with hot consomme soup... the soup was outstanding and the meat slowly boiled in the soup to a point where it was medium rare.  Paired with Champagne Piper-Heidsieck Rose Sauvage.

Champagne Piper-Heidsieck Rose Sauvage explanation... little did I know that the average Rose Champagne consists of 10% red wine but this had 25%.

Explanation of the Black Wagyu Beef Tongue... highest grade of meat.

Grilled beef with the very rare domestic black cow tongue (kuroge-wagyu) and harami.  Never ever have I had cow tongue at this level of tenderness, it was amazing.  Paired with Champagne Piper-Heidsiek Rose Sauvage

A little BBQ'ing

Our friendly Yelp Photographer who couldn't enjoy the meal with us... hopefully next time!

A5 ranked Yonezawa-Gyu special red beef paired with Bourgogne Gevrey-Chambertin 2013.

A5 ranked Yonezawa Beef paired with Bordeaux Chateau Lagrange 2006.  Each cut of beef had its own unique texture and flavor.

Beef tongue stew with red wine flavored risotto... this we so delicious.  You can cut the stewed tongue with a chopstick it was so tender.  Soooo yum.

Rarely do you see restaurants with an automatic soup dispenser... very nice.

And we close with a home made Gâteau au chocolat paired with Champagne Moet & Chandon N I R (NIR).  There was a sweets lover among us and she just loved this cake!

Champagne Moet & Chandon N I R

The restaurant consisted of multiple private rooms and you will not see other diners unless you peek into their booths.  The level of privacy is perfect for client dinners or even a date.  You don't get the  loud noisy smokey atmosphere usually associated with Yakiniku spots here.... in fact there was no smokey smell in this restaurant at all!  Pretty amazing.

The manager took his time to explain the meats and wines, the service and timing was perfect and I couldn't have had a better time... Will definitely be back to entertain clients.  A+ for me!

Oh the Elite ladies just loved this handsome server... perfect service.
