OSAKA/KYOTO: A quick business trip with Korean, Chinese and Yakitori... ho hum...

Arrived at Kyoto and headed to Isetan's top floor dining area... everything sure is expensive on this floor.  Lunch ranged from 1,500 - 3,000yen.

The most volume for lunch was Minami Korean Restaurant.  The staff was so friendly but I've always experience this outside of Tokyo... its just not so friendly in my big city.

1,600yen plus 8% tax.  Lots of volume but the chicken wasn't very melty tend.

Chinese Restaurant Bairan for their famous pan fried Yakisoba noodles with ankake under the crispy yakisoba noodles.

This place was so famous in Yokohama Chinatown that they began expanding.  Went for the 900yen fried Yakisoba but the volume of noodles was too much and a bit too greasy/oily.  Only ate half.  Don't know what the fuss was about.

And of course who doesn't like Yakitori... closed the business trip at TakaTori
