AOYAMA ICHOME: Menya Koike Tsukemen... 2nd worst ramen ever but its near a Ferrari showroom!

In search of a ramen spot in desolate Aoyama Ichome... walked past the Ferrari show room and arrived at a respectfully ranked 3.55 on Tabelog Menya Koike.

Huge picture menu outside... looks promising.

Inside was a staff of 4 shady looking middle aged to elderly staff... unclean... unshaven... very rare to see older folks working at Ramen shops.

Went for the Gyokai fish broth Tsukemen 200grams for 790yen... rents must be high here.

A few bites and I so regretted paying 790yen for this when I could have bought some frozen Tsukemen at the supermarket for 150yen.  This ranks as my 2nd least favorite ramen spot in all my years in Tokyo... the worst was http://tokyobelly.blogspot.jp/2014/07/tokyo-big-sight-tokyo-tonkotsu-ramen.html

Something was all wrong... left a strong MSG after taste in my mouth for hours.

One of the older staff members was simply wandering around the shop after his shift... he finally was leading against the counter right in front of me playing with his smartphone... very very odd behavior in this place.

Pieces of chicken in the soup,

Honest honestly the tsukemen (dipping noodles) here was terrible.
I won't return!

But there is a pretty amazing 1 car Ferrari show room by CORNES around the corner... last time there was a custom Ferrari 458... this time a beautiful white Ferrari F12 Berlinetta with sweet Italian flag colored stripes.
