GINZA: Tenkuni Tempura for their voluminous 3,880 yen lunch set~. Tempura batter was unusually stale and not crispy... fail.

Friends had talked about going to Tenkuni Tempura in Ginza and finally had a chance to try this very old skool looking restaurant.  We were a party of 5 so guided up to the 2nd floor dining area.

The nice little amenities that come with my 3,880 yen lunch.

ALOT of food!  And all you can eat rice to.

Most tempura shops have a perfect balance between crispy and chewy but this tempura batter was extremely stale like it had been sitting out for a while.  Hmm... I was very confused. A friend at my table actually left most of this outside tempura batter and mainly eat the stuff inside.

Unfortunately I won't be back here.
