ROPPONGI: Torikizoku Roppongi East Branch... waiter doesn't like to wash his hands... ugh.

I'm always a fan of budget yakitori at Torikizoku so decided to give their newer Roppongi East branch a try.... I rarely wander into this part of Roppongi... a bit seedy.

Huge beers for 280yen... and tiny gin tonics for 280yen...

One free daikon pickle when you arrive...

Everything is 280yen and all items are pictures...

Push button greeted us with a friendly Chinese waitress...

Had to give this new item a try... almost like boiled Singapore chicken rice without the rice.

And for sure always order this rice pot... takes about 30 minutes.

Big openings between booths... could see my neighbors lower body here.

And our other waiter... yup the guy who frequented the restroom without ever washing his hands.  There is always such a motley crew working at Torikizoku... its been on the news quite often that there is a lack of people willing to work in the fast food industry so many places have been shutting their locations.

Kind waitress Chinese, uncleanly waiter Japanese and the chef was Nigerian. Very international crew here.  But on a Sunday evening it was so unusually empty... I don't think I'll ever be back but if you need an alternative to TGIFridays, The Hub or Hard Rock Cafe this might be a nice quiet option.

Bob Sapp and Ferrari California spotting on my way to Torikizoku!
