IKEBUKURO: Kamikawaguchi-Ya Old-Skool Japanese candy shop at Kishimojin Temple... Hanami Season!

March 31st and April 1st the Cherry Blossoms are in full bloom so had to take advantage of the beautiful day and do a little Hanami at Kishimonjin Temple.

Spotted a very retro old skool candy shop that kids in Japan can visit with just a few pennies.

The Goddess Kishimojin is said to bring luck for fertility and child bearing.

Cat on duty~

Cat Postcards.

The owner was so friendly suggesting what items were popular. Prices started at 10yen or so.

Original 150 yen post cards with her cat.

My friend selected most of the items that he had as a child...

My favorite was the boiled octopus stick with yuzu flavor.

If you hanami here there is a bathroom too.

If you are in Tokyo this week you must get out and find a random park with blooming cherry.

Anyone else on Google+ get celebrity photobomb by #Hoffsom on April Fools Day!?
