IKEBUKURO: Tairyuken "Tokyo Ebisu" for some Rich Tonkotsu Shoyu Ramen! Jiro style~

Where to go after a night of drinks... of course had to hit up ramen with 2 ramen fans.

Spotted this Jiro'esque ramen with chunks of pork, garlic, bean sprouts and seaweed... plus a free bowl of rice!  This was all me~

You can select Small "sho" Medium "chu" or Dai "Large" volume of ramen noodles.

Recommended side dishes.

Can select al'dente noodles "katamen" and they have aprons too.

Friend ordered the standard ramen...

This was all me!  It looked very similar to Ramen Jiro.

Pork had a nice tough texture and the floating oil in the soup was a nice touch.

Raw garlic... be careful this stuff lingers for quite a while.

Noodles were chewy thick with a slight slippery texture.

They are looking for staff 1,000 - 1,562yen per hour.

Friendly service, clean and overall a great ramen spot to close out the night. If in Ikebukuro this might be a great spot to visit.  Most of the ramens are pictured on the menu but if you ever get lost just push the top left hand corner button on the machine... its always the most recommended item.
