ROPPONGI: Jasmine Thai... wow... probably the best Tom Yam Kung I've had in Tokyo!

Tokyo tower was celebrating 80years of Doraemon... thought the yellow circle was a pacman but a friend mentioned its Doraemon's yellow necklace bell.  To get to Jasmine Thai just hang a right when you see super friendly Bernd´s Bar Restaurant & German Pub. http://www.berndsbar.biz/

The clientele was easily 90% women and a few Indian diners... absolutely no Japanese salarymen.  Women in Japan always know where the best restaurants are~.

The whole gang went for the 3,500yen course plus 2,200yen all you can drink plan.

Pad Thai

The tom yam kung soup has sooo flavorful... the balance of spicy and sweet to perfection.  There was just so much depth to this simple soup.  Yum!

The entire staff was Thai and always very aware of customers and quick with drink orders.

Green Curry with Jasmine Rice... another hit.

The course/dinner was a bit on the higher price range at 5,700yen but the atmosphere was great, food delicious and service super polite.  A few friends mentioned the lunch value here is great... 1,000yen.
