OIZUMI GAKUEN: Menya Banka... a nice tsukemen with tomato topping

I've never been a fan of Tsuke-Men (Ramen soup and noodles are in separate bowls) because by mid-way thru the meal both the noodles and bowl of soup get a bit too cold.  I guess for those who love the consistency of the noodles til the end might find this good but I like to have the noodles soak up the soup vs coat it via dipping.

Top left button on the machine was Tsukemen (regular, large and extra large are all the same price).  And of course its hard to resist the flavored boiled egg option for 100yen.

Lots of instructions on how to fully enjoy your meal.

Friend ordered the Tsukemen with flavored egg and char-siu meat... looked super tender.

Here was my order...

This place had an unusually high percentage of female customers... think small touches such as tomatoes and extremely clean interior was the attraction.  I ate the tomatoes and greens separately but its best to let it soak in the soup (I didn't read this in the instructions until it was too late).

Small pieces of pork in the soup.

This gave a great little kick to the noodles.

Yum...100yen.

When you are done with the noodles its time to request hot "Wari-Soup" (believe this is the water used to boil the ramen)... there are 3 varieties of greens in this and was nice n hot.   Overall this place hit the spot but next time I'll surely try the Hot Ramen style vs Tsuke-men.
