NAKANO: Kaiten Sushi Misaki... love to chew and chew and chew? Order their Maguro with extra white connective tissue! (Sony RX100)

There were a few pieces of sushi going around but like this Maguro it started to look a bit dried out...

More sushi rotating around... nobody picked up these plates.

My Tuna!  Notice all the white connective tissue?  Its always a bad sign.

My seasoned Maguro called Zuke-Maguro also had a massive amount of white tissue... As you may know this white part is extremely chewy and at times you just can`t bit into it.

Sitting in a cramped counter seating shoulder to shoulder with a diner next to me with 2 plates of rather an odd cut of Maguro I was done... 

Overall the shop seemed understaffed with the solo chef telling everyone that their orders would come out slowly.  I highly suggest not dining here but head over to Kura Sushi with their spacious booth seating and sushi thats waaaay better.  Hello and Goodbye Sushi Misaki.

OKINAWA NAHA: Okinawa GO (Garlic Onion) Chicken for Christmas! BUT SUPER DRY... sad. (Sony RX100, D7100)

Its super traditional in Japan that on Christmas Day you eat chicken... on the mainland its KFC where you need to make a reservation otherwise no chicken for you on Xmas Day.

SO! I went to my favorite Rotisserie Chicken spot in Okinawa.

The male chef was super busy boxing up a large number of chickens and his wife took my order.  No half sizes available on Christmas day so got that full 1800 yen bird.  Kinda of alot for 1 person.

Not sure about you but staring down a full chicken kinda gave me the creeps...

After exploring all areas of the full chicken I noticed there was really no juiciness... I think the chef had to prepare so many that they weren`t hot or juicy.  It was just a dry chicken.

Inside the chicken was a huge portion of minced garlic.

Wish bone! Haven`t seen one of these in 20 years.  I learned not to visit Okinawa GO Chicken on the holidays. Definitely give them a try any other day... usually its piping hot and incredibly tender.  

That neglected Nissan Z32 Turbo (Fairlady Z) is still there... needs a rescue.
